mac-classicAlthough drawing from an early age, pavement art didn’t pay the bills and having gained county and Internation honours for track and
cross-country running, I decided on a career in sports science at West London and Loughborough Universities but my applications were unsuccesful due to spending too much time drawing on desks rather than studying! However, due to tremendous success an athlete, I was offered an athletic scholarship for track, cross-country and road running at Memphis State University, reading Physical Education and Recreation with a minor in Art. I packed away the brushes and pencils and went west, although strictly speaking it was the Deep South! While I was away the Digital Age was evolving!

Narrowly missing the elusive four minute mile barrier, I returned to Blighty and attended a design and typography course at Reading Art College becoming a freelance designer with my first Apple Mac Classic! Gradually expanding my client base, I was able to upgrade to an LCII and then the first iMac!  I spent several years working for full service agencies as a freelancer, then set up my own digital studio with a brand new Mac and all the trimmings and gained a video production and new media diploma from South Hill Park Arts Centre. I now offer a range of services from traditional illustration to vector composition, branding, corporate identity, animation and web design.
